I don't know how you got that, but thank you, Paul! :) I must tend to be negative when I first hear new songs by acts I like, because, after my earlier concerns, I really like "Live For Love" now (though I'm glad the whole album will not be like that...the promise of "grittier" guitar based tracks still worries me; it could go very well, but he could also be struck with "blaring guitars = credibility" syndrome). Similarly, I'm really sad that McFly's "Lose It" doesn't appear to be on their new album (unless it's been renamed, which is apparently what happened with a leaked clip that became "Star Girl"), because I really like the clip of "Lose It" now.Poster Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07797812846936450135noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23024334.post-40435019753951374832006-10-22T19:02:00.000+01:002006-10-22T19:02:00.000+01:00are you suggesting that Pinkie won't come back to ...are you suggesting that Pinkie won't come back to my blog?? Pinkie, do you have the Japanese import of the album, with "Bird In Flight" on it? Did you know Mike Stock wrote that originally with Barbra Streisand in mind to release it as a big "new millenium" single in December 1999?

Great album tracks on the Scooch record, though, too, which weren't released as singles -- "Never Stop Believing" and "Music To My Heart" (although that one was released by Natalie Powers when she went solo, on the Almighty label).

See, how there was a whole post you coulda done on Pop Eats Pop.

I'm reposting this on your blog, in case you don't come back and read this.D'luvhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01920860522649391365noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23024334.post-7359194249009449562006-10-22T12:35:00.000+01:002006-10-22T12:35:00.000+01:00Yes Scooch from a world we've somehow lost touch ...Yes Scooch from a world we've somehow lost touch with. Sadly. They would be perfect for a British attempt at Eurovision. As would Pop! My problem with POP! was that they were far to trashtrance. Their b-sides were better than the a-sides. POP! were far better looking though.

Thanks for thanks. LOL. Actually, i did those reviews as i couldnt think of what to say or do. I think "Serious" was vastly underappreciated.

And since you were asking earlier about opinions or suggestions -- it's probably just me, but I never click the "have a look at this" links on blogs. I think they're irritating. I don't mind if it's something linked up as a source of information, but if it doesn't say right in the blog post what "this" or "look here" is about, fuck it, I can't be bothered. But who knows, it's probably just me... it does seem to be the trendy thing to do, which is probably why it's so irksome. Again, that's just my opinion in response to your asking what readers thing...D'luvhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01920860522649391365noreply@blogger.com
