To people who know me, its no secret that my favourite singer ever is Deborah nee Debbie Gibson who was the Britney Spears of the late 80s/early 90s. Only without the 55 hour marriages and unsafe baby transportation. By early 1990 Deborah had put out Out Of The Blue and Electric Youth albums which both sold over 3 million copies in America and were middling to sizeable hits in England. What sets Deborah aside from her peers of that time (kylie, tiffany et al) was that she wrote and produced her own music and often wrote for other people too. Ana was a huge star in Japan and this song appeared on her English language album Body Language in 1990. Written by Deb, its a great pop tune that really should have done a lot better than it did.
