In memorium

Please take a brief moment to remember all those who lost their lives and those who had their lives changed forever as a result of the London bombings one year ago today...

A whole year... that morning was a sad one to wake up to and watch the news.

I interviewed several Londoners a few months after the attacks and they all said the same things about the day after; basically everyone went back to normal and got on the underground again, and that you had to go on with life.

it was such a strange day - early that morning i found out that i got the job i had desperately wanted (wise lesson : what you wish for ain't always what you want) and was on top of the world, only to turn on the tv and be filled with immense panic for my friends and family in London - all of whom were mercifully ok...

we had a two minute silence at work today and i was mortified and then very angry that people carried on typing and surfing the net. People are so selfish.

I am happy to see how London has bounced back so well. I know that some people have a bit of PTSD (post-traumatic...), but all things told, the Brits are resilient and graceful.

Sorry I have been so absent. I am just about to travel and it will be that way for a few days. I hope to read the blogs as they make me HAPPY and I that's been in short supply this week. Peace out!!
