a bit of a schizophrenic post today i'm afraid as i'm a bit hazy and hungover from a big night out with too many tia marias and orange juice (classy) and a shot of absinthe that totally finished me off... fun night though, eh ruthless and dazpanteloons ;)

I realised that two years ago today, daz and I finally finished renovating our kitchen at our last house. I really loved that little kitchen - we totally changed the room of it and i was so proud of it. Of course we only stayed another fifteen months before we got itchy feet, moved to our city centre apartment and installed this kitchen! All thrilling for you readers i'm sure but sweet memories for me :)

While we were getting ready to go out last night, daz and i were watching our favourite australian comedy Kath and Kim - the Kylie episode (99.9% fat free). This show is just one of those cult favourites that you have to watch multiple times to appreciate and get the amazing humour of it. I am rolling on the floor everytime we watch it. Here's what i wrote on another forum about it in Jan 2005...

"Must K&K ~ without a doubt, the best down under treat since anusol has to be Kath and Kim. If there's any justice in this world, the tv antics of Aussie surburban nightmares Kathy Day Night and daughter Kim Craig (nee Day) will become the biggest hit of 2005. It moves from tiny cable to prime time BBC in February in a first series which features a little Bo Peep themed wedding and a guest appearance by other famous ozzie K - Kylie Minogue. its all the campness of Stefan Dennis' solo career - cubed!"
