well goodness me, you are away from a computer for a few days and all sorts of things happen. New singles from female singers pervade the internet, more weepy bloke music enters my consciousness as i bask in the glow of loved up civil partnershipnessnessness and i'm home for 30 minutes before i am able to get sex right here! you know its gonna be a good weekend when that happens....
The girlie girls return:
Hmmm... so a certain (needy) website has rather riskily leaked new tracks by Kelly Clarkson (go), Jessica Simpson (public affair), christina aguilera (ain't no other man) and some vacuous tramp (stars go blind). If you download these songs make sure you say "thanks for the stolen music" or they will track you down and break your legs. Yikes!
- Kelly - i had no idea she was even recording new stuff yet. I am not overly in love with the Clarkson and this track isn't a million miles away from her previous, albeit hugely successful, style on Breakaway cd. In fact it kinda reminds me of Mel C when she wanted artistic credibility...
- Hussica - grife! Now i can't put my finger on what this reminds me of (Madonna sample aside). It's pleasant enough and much better than the awful Dukes of Hazzard track. It certainly came out quick enough after Nick's success...
- XTuna - i wasn't overly blown away by this at first, but the more i hear it the more i like it. I really liked Stripped, so had high hopes for this album and each time i listen to the single i get more excited for it. I can't wait to hear it in a club. Although it doesn't contain anything that makes my hip swing like Dirrty does...
- Vacuous Tramp - i kinda like it. What is wrong with me?
Ps ~ the left handed remix of Crush by Annie has made me reconsider the song....
The weepy boys:
Rooster - i kinda like Rooster. Their first cd had a few too many 80s rock ballads for my liking, but they know a decent tune even if they are stuck in a timewarp. Having looked at the feeling, i think rooster were totally mismarketed as a "boy band" and could have done better targeting the nostalgiac adults. New single Home is a slice of Bon Jovi 80s rock and while you wouldn't want it all the time, sometimes its no bad thing...
MP3: Rooster-Home
The Lake House - that's not a band, its the weepy and slightly illogical new movie starring Speedsters Keanu Reeves (worst crying on screen ever in this movie) and the effervescent Sandra Bullock. In my loved up state I loved this movie and probably would class it as elegant. But there were two just lovely songs in it, the first one below that sums up my newly wed mood and the second an incredibly aching song that will have you in floods when looking at those lost love photos :(
MP3: Paul McCartney-this never happened before
MP3: The Clientele-ican't seem to make you mine
Maroon5 - oh how i love the five and am still eagerly anticipating their sophomore set. In the meantime, the lovely voiced Adam Levine has hooked up with all sorts of whores and made music with Yin Yang Twins, Alicia Keys, Sly and Family Stone and now Bill Withers&Jimmy Buffet. This is the type of cover you'd expect from the maroonies but as i am now predisposed to love them whatever, i have to say i've played it multiple times already and je t'adore.

Plus! Lily Allen and The Pipettes both release albums on the 17th July? Summer is here and its gonna be grand!
I did a post on liking the new Yessica Simpson and then deleted it. I finally found something that embarrassed me so much I could not post it.
Didn't Mel C have a good Wm Orbit track called Go? All sorts of Kelly stuff is leaking. Lots of covers.
Twobit Whore's song was big like a week ago and now no one cares. Maybe she will put out a sex video to promote it. Cum facials set to cod reggae.
Viva Lily and Pipettes! Glad you are back...
Yeah, the new Annie, Christina and Lilly Allen blow oxygen chunks. What a pack of lousy broads. I like the new Jessica, though, XO... don't be ashamed of the cheese. Embrace it.
blow oxygen chunks... LOL!!
i never tan i only burn. its only extremes with me!
shouldn't you be talking about how lovely the lake house and m5 songs are? ;)
Awww, we missed you, Paul!
(and don't you think Adam would molest her at the Chateau Marmont? Doesn't he live there?)
