If you haven't checked out Switch 22's fantabulous post exclusive to The Zapping below then please do so now before you go any further... done it? Good - right on with all thats good in the world of blog and world wide web on this fine tuesday...

HOT LINKS:

There is a rather marvelous article on hot new Zapping fave Click here for a larger picture of it and here for an mp3 of Grace Kelly...

J'Ason and Moogaboo have their most hilarious banterview (copyright Chartrigger) in the usual place. Zing! Take that Clay Aiken!

Robbie Williams new song Lovelight is actually very good. I think it's one of his strongest vocals to date and is a good smooth dancey production that bodes much better for the forthcoming album than Rudebox. Popjustice has links to the video or you can download the song here (thanks to l'il Henry - i give credit unlike some other websites ;) !)

I have recently decided that Nick does some of the best album reviews on the web. i've directed you to them before but check out his views on Ta-Dah (he likes) and Jesse McCartney (he no like). Well done that man...

Thanks to little Pinkie sending me the Little Mermaid broadway demos which i am utterly addicted to, I am all over the disney film again. Hard working blogger Jessica is always a great source for music and my L'il Mermaid collection continues to expand... (i've promised Pinkie i'll return to the broadway demos and I will, but feast on this in the meantime...)

MP3: Jonas Bros - Poor Unfortunate Souls
MP3: Ashley Tisdale - Kiss The Girl
MP3: Jessica Simpson - Part Of Your World
MP3: Raven-Symone - Under The Sea

Although it's taken me far too long, I finally got around to listening to Lucas Mire's "Forever Not As Long As It Used To Be" cd and I love it - expect a favourable review shortly ;)

Coming soon - all the stuff I said yesterday and more! Stay tuned...

Pinkie will comment on this in seconds. I 'm currently frothing at the mouth. I also have a very special gift for you paul...that is v related to the little mermaid.

    :)

Ok, so done. (Btw, the raven track is the normal soundtrack version...lol)

First of all..I love this...Post! I am a big fan of the girl with a fish. I stole my sisters Arista doll(sister of Ariel...but hey you knew that...right?) and kept it under my bed like it was a dirty porn mag. Tragic huh!

The Little Mermaid was huge for me. When Ariel sung Part of Your World, when her father destroyed her grotto, oh so symbolic, oh so relative to me, oh so amazing. I stole the soundtrack(on tape) from OurPrice as my father refused to let me have it. The music was more important than the actual film itself.

    But enough of that!!

As an adult i went out and bought a special australian double cd of the Little Mermaid soundtrack. It picks me right up when im low. It came with a bonus set of stuff. Included was a brilliant dance-pop version of Part of Your World by Alana De Roma. It starts off REALLY bad but by the end her vocals really take off. You might have it already but you might not...so here ya go anyway

    Ah, thanks! I try :)

And, for what it's worth... I have recently decided that the cornucopia (cool word, yes?) of info on the zappin' has left me with a bit of an unhealthy addiction to your site.

Today, one of my dreams has finally been realized. I finally orchestrated a post on Clay Aiken that brought the Claymates out of the woodwork and caused a few to heap abuse on me.

So far, my favorite is the one who imparted "obviously you weren't good enough to go to Iraq. The Iraqis would have loved you... or spit you out."

I still can't figure that one out, but I'm happy the review of Clay's shit album was at least able to incite some sense of national anger. Perhaps that Claymate's frustrations over America's rapid failures are mirrored in what they see as Clay's failure to produce a good product for them...

    Oh well, at any rate:

    God Bless The U.S.A.

Pinkie - frothing at the mouth?! for me? oh for the little mermaid :) Oops yes uploaded the wrong track will rectify that later - i hadn't heard that version of it so I will download that when I am back home! Glad to know your shoplifting skills bought such happiness ;) I was lucky that my parents couldn't wait to gay me up! I was a trendy fashion statement!!!

Nick - feel free to be addicted :) I do read your blog daily too. It's a mutual love in! And yes, cool word :)

J'Ason - what "controversy" you have caused - i am so amused by the infancy of the claymates. How i have tittered :) Clay is probably wacking himself off to you as we speak. Ew. nausea

l'il henry! Fear not - we still love your blog the mostest (well one of the mostest!) that other one i have chosen to think of as a greatest hits of blogs. It's better for my blood pressure that way!

I can froth at the mouth at two things at the same time. I'm er dualistically built like that. But really it was the collection of beautiful Little mermaid trinkets. The version was only available on the Australian LTD double CD release of the soundtrack(it came with music from the sequel too). I also stole the Italian version of the soundtrack(im italian) There are just somethings worth breaking the law for aint there!?...Your parents are fabulous then. Truly they are!!
    PinkieDust said...
And i wanted to say the italian versions are brilliant!!!
