new year's vomit

Life's a piece of shit. When you look at it ;) First off, let me apologise as there will be no posts until I feel better. I thought i was getting better last night, until I woke up at 4.30am and was feeling giddy, sweaty and yucky. So i went to lie in the guest room so as not to disturb DazPenicillin and mumbled and groaned through my delusional hysteria til 10am. I thought i was in the Sound of Munich which is all Ruthiepoo's fault. I'll let her explain! Then I got up and realised that I am a rubbish patient. When Darren had his spinal operation he barely complained, yet i was so moody this morning it's ridiculous! My blanket got all twisted on our couch and instead of shaking it out like a normal human being, i threw it across the room and shook my fists at the lights screaming "stupid lights, hurting my eyes". I'm so proud. Then i was sick. Which probably serves me right.
Anyhoo, feel free to leave me lots of messages and let me know what you got up to new years eve. I was in bed finishing a book called The Xmas Factor. Quite good. On the plus side i did teach my dad on the phone this morning what sexless meant, and told him it's probably not wise to call the paperboy a "jizzum merchant!"
EDIT: See comments for update!

I hacked up my lungs, anus and left thumb if that makes you any happier. However today is a beautiful day and i am determined to make 2007 the best year of my entire life. One has to keep positive.

Oh, Paul--I so hope you feel better soon! Sadly, I have no entertaining New Year's stories for you, although the day beforehand I did watch a two-hour special about seven ways the world could end (for some reason, the History Channel decided the run-up to the New Year was a good time to run all their shows like that, as well as Tsunamis: Waves of Death, Siberian Apocalypse, Mega Disasters: Asteroid Apocalypse, and Decoding the Past: Mayan Doomsday Prophecy; let me just say that those were not quite the television shows to get you in a good mood before going out!). That's completely unrelated, though...I really hope you're feeling better soon!

Paul - the missus and I send our well wishes from this side of the pond. Nothing is worse than being sick!!

2007 is going to be the best year ever. Here's to more fabulous pop music, because, well, the world just can't get enough of that!

oh good lord - due to me being delirious at the weekend i mixed up my medication and accidentally poisoned myself! Luckily that sounds a lot more dramatic than it really is. I waslucky that i just missed toxic levels, but have fluid retention on the kidney which is causing constant and quite hideous headaches and can't keep anything down :( which of course doesn't help the fact i had kidney issues last year!! the doctor has given me some stuff which should hopefully clear it up in a couple of days... Poor me :( Still on about 11 hours sleep since friday!!

I hope you feel better soon.

Until that day might want to watch this video:

It's Michael Jackson's "Liberian Girl", which features many cameos of celebrities...including non other than Debbie Gibson (once at 1:51 and the other at 3:19 when she sings GIRL). Enjoy!
