First up i am so excited that Darrien and Hollie won this years Strictly Dance Fever. I think they have improved so much and totally deserved to become the stars of this show. Check out their amazing freestyle dance entry in the finale here...

So Shayne Ward is releasing Stand By Me as his third single??



Don't spin in your grave covers haters, its an "original" composition, if you can call stealing the exact piano line from overused Simon Cowell fave "unchained melody" an original composition. I liked the first single cos i was swept up in the hype of X Factor, the second i tolerated because he is a good looking lad and i really wanted him to do well, but this? It's westlife by the numbers and judging from his uptempo numbers he did during the show, he is capable of much much better...

I really want an electro boy band in our charts and although i'd take Veto Silver first, I quite like the track Electric Girl on their myspace site...and the erasure/eurythmics sampling Sweet Dreaming is pretty fine. Anyone who describes themselves as such is ok by me:
